The splintered reflections were gorgeous and the effect amazing. Made up of hundreds of butterflies dancing among wild flowers, the morning light had made the domed stained glass skylight come vividly to life.
It was both surreal and magical after nearly two years in a hospital, to now be surrounded by such opulance and these myriad prisms of light were dazzling, dancing over the polished white marble; especially in the context of simply being home once more.
How starkly contrasting to the antiseptic institutional green of her hospital room and how miraculous to be free and with a perfect bill of health after everything she'd endured.
